Not knowing what to pack for your trip can be frustrating, especially if it’s a destination you know nothing about. But first, let me ask you guys how have you been feeling since being in quarantine? I can only imagine how many of you must be having cabin fever because I am. Some have actually chosen to travel since some countries reopened their borders. As much cabin fever, as I may have and missing my best friend and family, I have decided to not travel this year.
For those of you looking to travel, Barbados from the United States, United Kingdom, or anywhere the island has reopened its airport after being on lockdown for two months. All flights have not resumed flying to the island and those that have, aren’t flying daily.
One tip for traveling to Barbados, I advise you to take a look at the Barbados travel protocols for the information you will need to know, on Barbados’s covid-19 travel protocols. To add if you are wondering if it is safe to travel to Barbados, the answer is yes.
Nonetheless, I can only imagine how excited you must be to travel to the island. I have always inspired others to visit, while others asked when is the best time to visit Barbados. My answer is to visit Barbados during the season of crop over. Traveling to another country can be very clamming and exciting as you are eager to start sightseeing, going to attractions take in the views, culture and so much more.
The weather here is usually sunny so I recommend packing for a warm climate. Some days may be hot and others may be filled with showers and a few thunderstorms. During the hurricane season which commences from the month of June until November, thunderstorms are more so expected this period. While packing, I urge you not to pack anything with a camouflage print, as it is illegal in Barbados. If worn or found the item will be confiscated. Only those in the army can wear this as it is a part of their uniform.
